Casa Batlló
This must be your first visit. As if taken from a fairy tale, it stands in the heart of Paseo de Gracia. It is the best place to start to fill up with the highest form of modernism. The building was built in 1877, but it was not until 1904 when Antonio Gaudí started its complete renovation. Casa Batlló is one of the architect’s most important works and its façade is one of the most popular postcards of the city. Its columns have impossible shapes, the windows are made of colored glass and its balconies play with imagination. Discover the Noble Floor, the attic and the Dragon roof.

Just a few meters from Casa Batlló, this other landmark of Antonio Gaudí emerges magnificent. Built between 1906 and 1910, it is characterized by its façade of wavy shapes and its famous rooftop terrace crowned by an impressive outdoor sculptures garden. A good plan is to visit the terrace of La Pedrera while you listen to a great jazz concert.

Today Gràcia is a neighborhood full of life, which overflows with charming places to enjoy a vermouth and terraces for tapas.
